Manners are a must. Each and every one of my cocktail waitresses learned quickly, that if they wanted their drinks, they would say please and ask nicely. Or they didn't make money. And then they soon found out that if they were good, nice, and had manners, I helped them make more money. Or at least made their night better with a bit of chocolate, wine, or something else that they needed that evening. (Get your minds out of the gutter)
The moral of the story: Treat me with respect, and I'll return it tenfold.
On a side note: In my nearly decade of tending bar, I had a grand total of three women notice or comment about me telling them "Good girl." When they finally learned to say please. I'm not sure if this is a good ratio, or bad, lol.
